This Roadmap identifies opportunities to reduce emissions at each step of the value chain from the beginning of cement production to the final reuse and recycling phase.

PCA members remain committed to reducing emissions associated with the manufacturing of clinker and the production of cement. Beyond the cement plant, many PCA members also produce concrete products and sell to concrete producers and seek to effect change there as well.

The cement and concrete industry, however, can’t achieve this goal alone. Collaboration across the entire value chain of cement and concrete usage is essential. All participants – from the smallest construction company to the federal government to the citizens who rely on our products – are needed to help us achieve carbon neutrality. Won’t you join us?
